Singer, Lyrics writer
Futurelove Sibanda is a Vienna-based singer-songwriter born in Nyamandlovu, Zimbabwe. He gained valuable experience on stage already at a young age.
At the age of 17 he joined the school performance group (Mpopoma High School).
For years he was a member of the pulsating dance group IYASA, with which he toured internationally very successfully.
After dance studies at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität, he worked as an actor and dancer in numerous dance and theater productions, especially at the Dschungel Wien.
Futurelove has built up a following over the years, touring with big names such as Wolfgang Ambros, Willi Resetarits, Opus, Hans Theessink, award-winning A cappella-group Insigizi and Team Bulawayo in several countries across the world.
Performances include venues in Austria, France, Liechtenstein, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Serbia, Croatia, Japan, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Swaziland and the United States of America.
In 2014 he founded “Future & The Lovers” and went on tour across Europe with his first full-length show “Beyond the Future”.
He recently opened up a channel called “This is Futurelove”, where he concentrates on bringing back humanity, which he thinks we are loosing so fast. He wants to make people one again, make them smile again, and make them realize how great and how much positivity they have in themselves.
He is also working on a project called “My love song”, where he composed a song with the phrase “I love you” in more than 60 different languages. The purpose of this song is to bring people together, to learn something new about other people whom we call strangers, to love, care and share.
Combining distinctive and soulful vocals, touching lyricism and his signature caramel voice, Futurelove’s music is heartfelt, emotional and reminiscent of artists in the vein of John Legend and James Vincent McMorrow.
